Welcome
Many students’ lives today are filled with media that gives them mobile access to information and resources 24/7. Our world is quickly changing and requires new skills in order to be successful. These 21st Century skills include the ability to collaborate, create, communicate, identify and solve problems, and tackle challenges not yet known. Outside school, students are free to pursue their interest in their own way and at their own pace. The opportunities are limitless, borderless, and instantaneous. In an effort to continue to put students at the center and further empower them to take control of their own learning, the St. Michael-Albertville Middle Schools will pilot the use of personal technology devices in a limited number of classrooms.
Project Phoenix Guidelines and a FAQ are available below. You're also encouraged to click "Get Started" to learn more about just some of the tools that we will use this year! Don't hesitate to contact Mr. Canton or Mr. Merfeld with further questions!
